WHY SRHR TRAINING

Adolescence is a pivot stage filled with new challenges and responsibilities, hence the training provided key information to adolescents and teen mothers with a focus on preventing unwanted pregnancies, and sexually transmitted infections and empowers them to make informed decisions about their bodies and futures. The training focused on comprehensive education, where adolescents and teen mothers had an opportunity to learn about bodily autonomy, reproductive health, health relationships, and access to services.

Forty-five (45) adolescents and teen mothers were trained in sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and voluntary family planning services. Through the training, adolescents can make proper decisions about their reproductive health.
